Analysis of Material Difference of Galvanized Sheet
Jun 28,2024
Overview of 1. galvanized sheet
Galvanized sheet is a steel plate as the substrate, after pickling, cleaning and processing, and then on the surface after electroplating or hot plating process formed coating products. Galvanized sheet not only has excellent corrosion resistance, but also has good surface quality, good plasticity and good weldability. It is widely used in construction, home appliances, automobiles, machinery and other fields.
2. galvanized sheet material types and their differences
1. Cold-rolled sheet
Cold rolled plate is a steel plate that is rolled at room temperature. Its surface is smooth and its dimensional accuracy is high, but its plastic energy is poor. Cold-rolled sheet can improve its corrosion resistance after galvanizing treatment, which is suitable for areas with high requirements for product surface quality.
2. Hot rolled plate
Hot rolled plate is a steel plate rolled at high temperature, the surface is slightly rusty, but the plasticity is good. The corrosion resistance of hot-rolled plate can be improved after galvanizing treatment, which is suitable for the field where the surface quality of the product is not high.
3. Electrolytic plate
The electrolytic plate is made by galvanizing the cold-rolled plate or hot-rolled plate in an electrolytic tank. Its surface quality is relatively good, but the price is relatively high.
4. Galvanized zinc plate
Galvanized zinc plate is an alloy of aluminum, zinc and silicon coated on the surface of cold-rolled plate or hot-rolled plate. Its surface quality is good, corrosion resistance is strong, but the price is high.
5. Tinplate
Tin plate is formed by plating tin layer on the surface of cold rolled plate or hot rolled plate. Its surface is relatively smooth, color is good, corrosion resistance is weak, but it has good corrosion resistance.
